Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Python & React Full Stack Developer with 25 years of experience to support the development and enhancement of web applications. The role provides strong hands-on exposure to both backend and frontend development in the Capital Markets domain, working closely with senior developers and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python
• Build and enhance frontend components using React
• Apply UI/UX guidelines to improve usability and user experience
• Contribute to end-to-end feature development and application enhancements
• Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code
• Support API integrations, database interactions, and application workflows
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and sprint planning
• Assist with testing, bug fixing, and production support activities
• Follow best practices in software development and security

Required Skills & Experience

• 25 years of software development experience
• Hands-on experience with Python for backend development
• Hands-on experience of using REST APIs and web application architecture
• Hands-on experience with React for frontend development
• Experience of using UI/UX principles and responsive design
• Practical experience of using Functional Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and using unit testing frameworks for backend development
• Experience using Git or similar version control systems
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Exposure to Capital Markets / Financial Services
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with cloud platforms or DevOps concepts
• Exposure to frontend build tools, testing frameworks, or CI/CD pipelines

Awareness of non-functional requirements, including security, performance, and resilience in application design and production support.
