Recur is the intelligent operating system for busy parents. We have launched our V1 on the App Store to glowing feedback, and now we are ready to build the Co-pilot . We are looking for our first engineering hire to take ownership of the stack and turn Recur into a world-class AI-assisted logistics engine.

The Stack

• Frontend: React Native / Expo (SDK 54+, New Architecture)
• Backend: Supabase (Auth, PostgreSQL, Edge Functions)
• Intelligence: OpenAI/Anthropic (Vision, Function Calling, RAG)
• State/Data: Zustand, TanStack Query

What Youll Do

• Customer Feature Ownership: build user centric front-end features, push notifications, infra, payment stack, etc
• Family Logistics Engine: Architect a robust family-sharing system where data stays in sync across multiple devices in real-time
• The Intelligence Layer: Build Agentic flows for logistical use cases
• Performance Engineering: Optimize our Expo/React Native frontend for \"buttery smooth\" performance on both iOS and Android.
• Backend Scaling: Manage and optimize our Supabase (PostgreSQL) instance, including Row Level Security (RLS) and Edge Functions.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Take over the EAS Build/Submit pipeline to ensure seamless, automated releases to the App Store and Play Store.
• Quality Assurance: Implement Sentry for error tracking and write clean, maintainable code that allows us to move fast without breaking things.
• Fintech for Families: Build out our \"Spend Insights\" engine to help parents track ROI and credit depletion across dozens of extracurricular activities.

Who You Are

• The Generalist: You have 3+ years of experience in React Native and feel equally at home writing PostgreSQL RLS policies or optimizing 120fps UI animations.
