Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to build scalable systems capable of handling millions of messages daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and ship end-to-end product features across frontend (dashboard) and backend (APIs/services) with high quality and speed.
• Develop scalable backend services for core workflows such as messaging, automation journeys, segmentation, templates, and analytics.
• Design clean, versioned APIs (REST/GraphQL) with strong authentication/authorization (RBAC) and data access controls.
• Build responsive, intuitive UI screens/components with attention to UX, edge cases, and performance.
• Own data modeling and persistence for features (schemas, indexing, query optimization) across SQL/NoSQL stores.
• Implement background processing using queues/workers/cron (retries, idempotency, rate limiting, failure handling).
• Ensure reliability and observability: logging, metrics, alerts, dashboards, and post-release monitoring.
• Write tests (unit/integration/e2e where applicable) and maintain strong code review standards.
• Debug production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ship preventative fixes (runbooks, automation, guardrails).
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and Support to refine requirements and deliver predictable releases.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and continuous improvement of engineering processes.
• Contribute to improving platform performance, security posture, and developer velocity (refactoring, tooling, documentation).

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Masters preferred)
• 3+ years of overall experience as a software engineer
• Strong expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js)
• Excellent command of JavaScript and modern JS frameworks
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive front-end design
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs
• Solid knowledge of MongoDB database design and management
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Experience with Git and version control best practices
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a strong plus
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment
