About the Role

Scaler AI Labs is seeking skilled Software Engineers who will be building systems to train the next generation of LLMs. The role involves developing robust, high-performance systems that power next-generation models. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python (backend) and React.js (frontend) .

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and high-performance web applications using Python for Backend and React.js for frontend.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build robust features end-to-end.
• Solid understanding of component lifecycle, hooks and state management.
• Expertise in CSS, Tailwind, responsive design, UI interactions and animations.
• Experience with performance optimization: lazy loading, caching strategies, asset optimization.
• Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA roles, keyboard navigation).
• Familiarity with SEO best practices for web applications.
• Strong debugging skills using browser DevTools and performance monitoring tools.
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest, Playwright).
• Understanding of APIs and client-server communication (REST, GraphQL).
• Strong experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
• Hands-on experience with both relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
• Understanding of database optimization, indexing strategies and query performance.

Requirements

• 37 years of fullstack development experience.
• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and database design (PostgreSQL/MySQL preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ownership mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
