Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Microservices Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing microservices-based solutions that meet our business needs. You will work closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our applications are scalable, reliable, and maintainable. Roles & Responsibilities: - 1. **Architecture Design:** - Design and develop microservices architecture for complex, distributed applications. - Define and enforce best practices for microservices design, including domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, and service orchestration. - Ensure scalability, performance, and security in microservices design. 2. **Technical Leadership:** - Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams. - Review and approve architectural designs and code implementations. - Mentor and coach developers on microservices principles and best practices. 3. **Collaboration:** - Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of microservices. 4. **Quality Assurance:** - Ensure high-quality code through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration practices. - Identify and address technical debt and architectural risks. 5. **Documentation:** - Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation. - Develop and maintain technical guidelines and standards. Professional & Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js. - Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, gRPC, and message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ). - Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. - Strong knowledge of database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - **Microservices Design Patterns:** - Circuit Breaker - API Gateway - Service Discovery - Saga Pattern - Event Sourcing - Strangler Fig - Bulkhead - CQRS (Command Query Responsibility Segregation) - **Event-Driven Architecture and Patterns:** - Event Carried State Transfer - Event Sourcing - Command Event Pattern - Event Notification - Event-Driven Communication - Experience with event-driven architectures. - Knowledge of service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd). - Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack. - Certification in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Microservices and Light Weight Architecture. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
