Purpose of the Job

The Back End Developer will be part of the team managing and supporting Nouryons Digital Support DevOps team. We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to ensure the upkeep of high-quality custom web applications on Microsoft technologies of our Web based enterprise applications. This includes ensuring alignment with business needs, compliance with industry best practices, and delivering outstanding application experience.

This role is responsible for driving the technical success of backend application for accelerating software development and maintaining multiple applications.

The team will work in a DevOps methodology, and teams efforts will be prioritized and coordinated by the Product Owner /Team Lead /Scrum Master.

About the job (Job Responsibilities)

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate and understand their requirements.
• Expert knowledge of object-oriented architecture and design patterns for building highly scalable applications.
• Contribute to team agile planning activities and backlog prioritization and management.
• Identify and escalate any application issues or risks to the team and provide suggestions for resolution.
• Continuously improve development processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness of development activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and develop strategies, frameworks relating to their emerging demands.
• Driving innovation/adoption of Industry practices through investigation/institutionalization of new tools/methods/standards.
• Ability to take a mock or concept and turn it into a working experience.
• Create documents and make sure that they are reviewed and approved by appropriate stakeholders.
• Participate in estimation of User Stories in Story points and commit the efforts required.
• Develop to cover all user stories acceptance criteria and honor timely deliveries.
• Understanding of content management system (CMS) like EPiServer/Optimisely.
• Resolve production incidents or defects as needed and proactively identify potential issues. before they appear in the production environment; contribute to the root cause analysis.
• Drive high performance and accountability for own deliverables.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve the sprint objectives.
• Drive continual service improvements.
• Drive knowledge sharing efforts in organization

We believe you bring (Education & Experience)

• Master / bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• A minimum of 8 years working experience.
• Hands on experience in ASP.NET, .NET Framework, .NET Core, Entity Framework.
• Expertise in designing and optimizing databases using SQL.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, version control.
• Understanding of security best practices for building and maintaining secure backend systems.
• Additional advantage if you have experience working in PowerShell, Python scripting.
• Experience working in Agile or DevOps teams. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
