Position- Full Stack Developer

Location: K.R. Mangalam University (Head Office-Mehrauli, South Delhi)

Role Overview

Own and evolve the web ecosystem for K.R. Mangalam University (NAAC A-grade, 100+ programmes, 11 schools). You will be the primary developer for the main website (krmu.edu.in), admissions landing pages, and CMS integrations. Hands-on IC role with full codebase ownership.

Responsibilities

Own the architecture, development, and performance of the university website and admissions platforms

Design and build scalable, high-performance applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS

Lead CMS architecture and integrations using Strapi (content modeling, APIs, workflows)

Drive technical SEO strategy including structured data, Core Web Vitals, indexing, and site performance

Architect and implement lead funnels: forms, CRM integrations, chatbots, and tracking systems

Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and conversion (landing page performance focus)

Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and infrastructure

Translate business and marketing requirements into scalable technical solutions

Implement robust authentication, security, and data protection mechanisms

Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers

Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure system reliability and uptime

Frontend

Advanced expertise in Next.js (App Router, SSR/SSG), React, TypeScript

Strong experience with Tailwind CSS and modern UI architecture

Deep understanding of performance optimization and rendering strategies

CMS & Integrations

Hands-on experience with Strapi (content modeling, REST/GraphQL APIs)

Tools & Deployment

Git/GitHub, Docker (containerization)

Deployment platforms: Vercel / Netlify

Basic AWS S3 knowledge

SEO & Analytics

Technical SEO, Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse optimization

Google Analytics (GA4), Search Console, Tag Manager

Backend

Strong experience in Node.js / Python / Java

Frameworks such as Express.js, Django, or Spring Boot

API design (REST / GraphQL) and microservices architecture

Database

Strong knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL / MySQL)

Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB)

Database design and performance optimization

DevOps & Cloud

CI/CD pipeline setup and management

Docker & containerization

Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP

Good to Have

Experience working on higher education or admissions websites

Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude)

Ability to convert Figma/XD designs into production-ready code

Experience with A/B testing and landing page optimization

Python (Flask/FastAPI) for internal tools

Qualifications

B.Tech / BCA / MCA or equivalent

35 years in frontend or full-stack web development

Portfolio or GitHub demonstrating relevant work
