EasyFix (easyfix.in) is a pan-India enterprise maintenance platform serving large corporates across 350+ cities. We operate at the intersection of operations, field execution, and technology, solving a problem that is operationally complex and traditionally unorganised.

We are Indias first technician-first company and have built the countrys first Worker Quality Index on our microservices platform a system designed to standardise output, reliability, and accountability in blue-collar services at scale.

We are currently at an inflection point where market demand, operational scale, and technology readiness are converging. The next phase of growth requires strong backend systems that are reliable, scalable, and deeply aligned with real-world execution.

Role Overview

This role is for a backend-first full-stack developer who enjoys building high-impact systems, not just features.

You will work on core backend services, integrations, and platform reliability, while collaborating closely with frontend and mobile teams. Your code will directly power technician workflows, client dashboards, order orchestration, and real-time updates across India.

This is an on-site role in Gurugram, working with product, operations, and leadership teams.

What You Will Do ----

Backend & Platform Engineering

• Design, build, and scale backend services using Spring Boot
• Own APIs that support technician apps, client dashboards, CRM, and internal tools
• Implement clean, modular, testable code with long-term maintainability in mind
• Work with Hibernate JPA and MySQL for high-volume transactional systems

Integrations & Real-Time Systems

• Build and maintain REST APIs, JSON interfaces, and webhook architectures
• Integrate with third-party systems and client platforms using Node.js / Express.js where required
• Ensure reliable data sync and event handling across distributed systems

Performance, Reliability & Scale

• Optimize system speed, uptime, and fault tolerance
• Design systems that operate reliably across 350+ cities and millions of transactions
• Debug and resolve production issues with urgency and ownership

Collaboration & Problem Solving

• Work closely with frontend teams (Angular, Flutter, Laravel)
• Collaborate with operations teams to solve real business problems, not hypothetical ones
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making

DevOps & Delivery

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
• Work with AWS infrastructure to support scalable and secure deployments
• Use GitHub effectively for version control, reviews, and collaboration

Core Technical Skills (Must-Have)

Backend:

• Java, Spring Boot (strong hands-on experience required)
• Hibernate JPA

Database:

• MySQL (query optimisation, schema design, performance tuning)
• APIs & Integrations:
• REST APIs, JSON
• Webhooks (experience preferred)

Infrastructure & DevOps:

• AWS (EC2, S3, RDS)
• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or equivalent)

Developer Tools:

• GitHub, Postman, Swagger

AI-Assisted Development (Expected)

• Basic working experience with AI-powered developer tools such as:
• OpenAI / Codex, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Windsurf, or similar
• Ability to use AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining:
• code quality, security, performance, best practices

Bonus (Good to Have, Not Mandatory)

• Java Struts-2 / Velocity (legacy CRM support)
• Apache Velocity templating
• PHP Laravel (website and integration work)
• Flutter (coordination with mobile app team)
