Hiring for Frontend WordPress Developer for a Leading IT Services and IT Consulting Firm based in Ahmedabad.

Job Title: Frontend WordPress Developer

Industry: IT Services & IT Consulting

Location: Ahmedabad (Initial 3-4 months WFO & Remote)

Experience Required: Relevant Frontend WordPress Development Experience

Working: 5 Days

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement new features and functionality
• Establish and guide website architecture
• Ensure high performance and availability of CMS
• Develop responsive designs and convert them into working themes & plugins
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Support back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• Experience building UI for websites/web applications
• Expertise in responsive website development
• Comfortable using debugging tools (Firebug, Chrome Inspector, etc.)
• Ability to convert layouts & wireframes into working HTML pages
• Experience interacting with RESTful APIs (JSON, XML) Mandatory
• Hands-on experience with SASS, LESS, Bootstrap, CSS GRID
• Proficient in Git/SVN/Mercurial
• Understanding of PHP back-end development
• Strong knowledge of WordPress structure & plugins
• Experience with WooCommerce projects
• Exposure to WordPress multi-network & multilingual sites
• 3rd party integrations on WordPress sites
• Experience with diverse themes: X-Theme, Astra, Avada, Bridge, Divi, Engage, GeneratePress
