Position Overview

OGS is currently seeking a The Front-End Engineer reports to the Senior Front End Engineer and the Project Manager he/she is currently working with. He/She works closely with the Backend Engineer and the QA Engineer during the website development and maintenance phase. He/She should be able to deliver the front-end work according to the standard set by the Frontend architect including the documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for developing efficient, testable, reusable components for responsive

websites

• Responsible to write good code using the best industry practices set by the Frontend

Architect

• Responsible for writing good documentation for all codes written
• Responsible for developing websites using a mobile first strategy
• Responsible to develop websites using best SEO practices and accessibility
• Responsible for writing unit test cases as part of development
• Responsible to mitigate performance issues during development
• Responsible to comply with project plans and industry standards
• Responsible to Work closely with other staff, such as backend developers, QA engineers, release engineers, project managers, graphic artists, UX designers and sales and
• marketing professionals
• Responsible to investigate in new emerging technologies
• Responsible to continuously update technical knowledge and skills by attending inhouse and external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES (Salesforce & AMPscript):

• Responsible for developing and maintaining Salesforce Marketing Cloud assets including email templates, landing pages, and CloudPages
• Responsible for writing, debugging, and optimizing AMPscript and SSJS for personalized and dynamic content
• Responsible for integrating front-end components with Salesforce Marketing Cloud data

extensions, content blocks, and API-based data flows

• Responsible for ensuring Salesforce-based solutions follow security, scalability, and platform best practices Independently complete assigned issues which may include design updates, bugfixes, and new feature development.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience using relevant programming languages.
• Min 3+ years of experience needed
• Experience using relevant tool suites.
• Extensive knowledge of agile methodologies.
• Experience using JavaScript package manager such as NPM
• Experience using revision control such as GIT
• Good understanding of SEO principle
• Web Technologies: JavaScript, React.JS, NextJS, Vue.JS, Node.JS
• Libraries/Framework: ExpressJS, Mocha, Bootstrap, Foundation
• Databases: MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Tools/IDE: Microsoft Visual Studio Code with linters
• Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
• Proficiency in AMPscript and Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS)
• Experience with building responsive email templates, CloudPages, and SFMC landing pages
• Understanding of Data Extensions, Journey Builder, and personalization logic within SFMC
