Frontend Developer

Position Overview

The Data Products and Services team leverages modern web technologies and cloud platforms to design, build, and maintain high-quality web applications and data-driven products. We work closely with investment and business teams to deliver intuitive, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces that support critical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements, user needs, and technical constraints
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, production-grade frontend applications using React JS
• Build responsive, user-friendly web interfaces with a strong focus on performance and usability
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services
• Take ownership of the products you and your team work on, ensuring ongoing support, enhancements, and stability
• Contribute to improving frontend architecture, coding standards, and development processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on frontend development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React JS, HTML, and CSS
• Experience building and maintaining end-to-end web applications
• Familiarity with REST APIs and frontend-backend integration
• Experience working with modern frontend tooling, version control, and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Willingness to learn new tools, frameworks, and technologies as needed

Nice to Have

• Experience with modern React ecosystems (Hooks, Redux, Context API, etc.)
• Exposure to performance optimization and scalable frontend architectures
• Experience working with large datasets or data-driven user interfaces
• Familiarity with cloud-based environments and microservices-oriented system
