About the role

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to build and maintain the Operator App frontend - a hybrid mobile and web application used by bus operators globally to monitor collections, track fleets, audit operations, and receive real-time alerts.

This is a role focused on strong execution, high-quality frontend development, and ownership of features from design to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the Operator App using ReactJS and TypeScript .
• Contribute to the ongoing app revamp (New Journey flow) .
• Ensure compatibility across mobile, web, and TV platforms .
• Implement responsive UI experiences tailored for B2B operators.
• Own frontend features end-to-end - from implementation to production.
• Take complete ownership of the playback feature , including: Video components, Timeline controls, Download functionality
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs smoothly.
• Migrate state management from legacy Redux to Redux Toolkit .
• Write and maintain unit tests , targeting 70%+ coverage for key modules.
• Follow clean architecture and reusable component design patterns.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and maintainability of the codebase.
• Work closely with Product Managers and Designers starting from Figma mocks .
• Be comfortable working with partial or evolving requirements .
• Participate actively in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Improve turnaround time from requirement to first working version, especially for business-critical markets

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS , JavaScript , and TypeScript
• Experience with hybrid mobile frameworks such as Capacitor, Ionic, or similar
• Good understanding of Redux ; experience with Redux Toolkit is a strong plus
• Experience with: Responsive design, Component-based architecture, Frontend design patterns
• Familiarity with native mobile plugins (Google Maps, push notifications, device APIs)
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks (unit / integration / E2E)
• Basic understanding of backend systems (Node.js, MongoDB ) for collaboration
