Front-End Developer (React)

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and driven React Front-end Developer to strengthen our engineering team in Pune. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, responsive, and performant user interfaces for our technology products. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects, contribute to a core set of products, and directly impact our user experience through cutting-edge front-end technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop user-facing features using React.js, following best practices and modern architectural patterns.
• Collaborate closely with UX Designers, and back-end engineers to interpret wireframes and prototypes, ensuring technical feasibility and functional front-end components.
• Implement state management solutions (e.g., Redux, Recoil) to handle complex application states.
• Integrate the front-end with RESTful APIs provided by the MuleSoft ESB team and other backend services, such as GraphQL services.
• Ensure the application is highly performant, responsive, and adheres to accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a reusable component library and design system.
• Conduct code reviews and actively participate in sprint planning and estimation.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and debug front-end issues, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with significant expertise in React.js and its core principles.
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Strong experience with modern front-end build pipelines and tools like Webpack and Babel.
• Proven ability to consume RESTful services and handle asynchronous data flows effectively.
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).

Preferrable Skills

• Familiarity with UI component libraries (e.g. Chakra UI) or experience in building design systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, Cloudflare) or CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
