Job Summary

: The Block Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, supervising, and monitoring project activities at the block level. The role ensures smooth coordination between various stakeholders, including local government bodies, community members, and district teams, to achieve program objectives effectively. Key Responsibilities: Implement project activities as per the guidelines at the block and village levelsCoordinate with Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), government officials, and community leadersFacilitate community mobilization and awareness campaignsConduct regular field visits to monitor implementation and provide supportPrepare and submit block-level progress reports and documentationOrganize training, meetings, and capacity-building sessions for staff and beneficiariesEnsure timely data collection, verification, and reporting to the district officeResolve field-level challenges and escalate critical issuesMaintain records, registers, and documentation in accordance with program requirementsAct as the primary point of contact for all block-level operations Eligibility & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Education, or a related field (Postgraduate qualification preferred for some programs)Minimum 13 years of experience in field-level implementation or coordination workFamiliarity with government schemes, rural governance, and community engagementStrong communication and interpersonal skillsBasic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and report writingAbility to ride a two-wheeler and willingness to travel extensively in the block areaLocal residency or knowledge of the local language and culture is an advantage Desirable Attributes: Leadership and team coordination skillsProblem-solving attitude and adaptabilityExperience with NGOs, SHGs, or government projects is a plus How to Apply: Interested candidates may send their resume and a cover letter to with the subject line: Application for Block Coordinator Roshni Singh
