French Teacher

Location- Charmwood

We are seeking an experienced and passionate French Language Teacher for TGT Grades. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French , following the CBSE curriculum and fostering a stimulating, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Delivery:
• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging French language lessons that align with the specific framework.
• Incorporate both language acquisition and language literature components into the curriculum.
• Create differentiated learning activities to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Assessment & Reporting:
• Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and guide instruction.
• Provide regular feedback and reports on student achievement, in line with CBSE assessment criteria.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with other subject teachers, the coordinator, and the modern languages department to ensure interdisciplinary learning.
• Participate in regular department meetings and contribute to curriculum planning and development.
• Student Support:
• Foster a love for language learning and cultural appreciation among students.
• Provide additional support for students who need extra help, both within and outside the classroom.
• Professional Development:
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in teaching and language education.
• Extracurricular Engagement:
• Support language-related extracurricular activities such as language clubs, cultural events, or exchange programs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelors or Masters degree in French Language, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years teaching French in a middle setting.
• Prior experience is a strong advantage.
• Skills:
• Fluency in French (native or near-native level) and strong command of English.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in integrating technology into language teaching.
• Passion for working with middle and high school students in an international, diverse setting.
