About Us

Damn Gina is a beauty and lifestyle brand that doesn't take itself too seriously, but takes its design very seriously. We lead with humour, speak in memes, and build products rooted in culture and intention. If you've ever wished a brand's Instagram felt like your group chat, that's the energy. We're looking for a designer who can make people laugh and click add to cart.

The work

• Social media content graphics that are equal parts fun and on-brand (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)
• Static ad creatives for paid campaigns, the kind people screenshot instead of scroll past
• Packaging design and label artwork that looks premium but feels approachable
• Elevated brand assets. Think pitch decks, look books, brand collateral
• Campaign-specific creative (sale banners, launch graphics, email headers)

You are

• A designer with a sharp eye, a cultural pulse, and a sense of humour. You know what's funny, what's trending, and where the two overlap
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Figma, and Canva
• Strong understanding of packaging design, print specs, and designing for both digital and physical formats
• You can take a brief and run with it. Minimal hand-holding, maximum creative initiative
• Your portfolio shows range: from clean and elevated to bold, playful, and meme-literate
• Comfortable with fast turnarounds. 48 hours for digital content, with longer timelines for packaging projects
• Bonus if you've worked with beauty, haircare, wellness, or lifestyle brands
• Double bonus if your design references make people go "they get it"

How We Work

• This remote role is project-based freelance work. Volume will vary week to week depending on campaigns and launches
• We collaborate via Notion, Slack, and WhatsApp
• You'll work directly with the founder. Feedback is clear, fast, and respectful of your craft
