Freelance Consultant – Sourcing Manager

Our client, a leading American multinational manufacturer of confectionery and pet food , is looking for a Sourcing Manager Colors, Flavors & Essentials.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute sourcing strategies using the Mars framework and relevant market tools.

Conduct market, cost, and supplier analysis to inform negotiation strategies.

Partner with Global Category Teams and maintain strong relationships with global Category Leads.

Lead negotiations and manage contract creation with suppliers, including price, rebates, capacity, and service levels.

Develop regional/global contracts and ensure effective implementation of SLAs.

Build deep category expertise to deliver market insights and support operating plans.

Prepare recommendations for Award BARs based on complexity and business impact.

Execute value-leadership initiatives aligned with category strategy.

Drive cross-functional collaboration and ensure process adherence.
