Your RoleAs a Lead FPGA Verification Engineer at NEC Mobile Network Excellence Center (NMEC), Chennai, you will be responsible for leading the RTL verification of FPGA-based designs from concept to tape-out. You will collaborate with design teams to understand architecture specifications and drive the development of robust verification environments using SystemVerilog and UVM. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring high-quality deliverables for Datacom or Aerospace applications.In this role, you will:Lead and own the RTL verification of FPGA-based designs.Define and drive FPGA verification plans and develop testbenches using SystemVerilog/UVM.Collaborate with design engineers to understand architecture and micro-architecture specifications.Perform functional coverage analysis, regression testing, and debug failures.Mentor and guide junior verification engineers.Your ProfileBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech or equivalent).6+ years of experience in FPGA verification.Expertise in FPGA platforms such as Xilinx and Intel (Altera), including AXI-based design integration.Strong experience in verifying high-speed interfaces like PCIe, DDR, and Ethernet.Skilled in developing verification IPs and performing validation on FPGA platforms.Proficient in SystemVerilog, UVM, and simulation tools like QuestaSim and VCS.Solid understanding of HDL languages including Verilog, VHDL, and SystemVerilog.Strong scripting skills in Perl, Tcl, or Python.Experience in building self-checking verification environments with BFMs, checkers, monitors, and scoreboards.
