We are now hiring a Founding Senior Applied AI Engineer (RAG) to own the retrieval and grounding backbone that makes the system reliable and impactful for our growing list of global enterprise customers.

What youll own

• Production RAG: hybrid retrieval (vector + keyword/BM25 + structured filters), chunking/metadata/ACLs, reranking, freshness and reindexing
• Grounded outputs: citations first, confidence scoring, hallucination controls, prompt injection resistance
• Agentic workflows: safe tool calling, tool allowlists, approval gated execution, idempotency and retry patterns
• Eval + reliability: eval harnesses and regression suites, monitoring and tracing, cost/latency budgets and caching
• Turning messy enterprise inputs (PDFs/emails/CRMs/warehouses) into reliable permissioned context with provenance

Youre a fit if youve

• Shipped RAG/search/LLM systems in production and can explain the tradeoffs you made
• Built with measurement and failure modes in mind (evals, staleness, permissions, retries)
• Balanced quality with latency + cost and can work to P95 targets
• Achieved a strong GPA in Engineering at a T1 Institution
