Founding Engineer

Company Description

We are a stealth-mode, pre-seed-funded, post-revenue startup working on solving some of the biggest challenges in video processing.

Location : Hybrid (Bangalore)

Role Description

As a founding engineer, you'll own large chunks of the product and infrastructure from day one. You'll make architectural decisions, ship features end-to-end, and build infrastructure and agents that process thousands of videos. You'll work directly with the founders (both technical) to shape the product and figure out what to build next.

You will be the first Full Time Hire of Keyframe, so that comes with tons of ownership, great ESOPs, and insane bragging rights (along with a lot of responsibilities)

What we are looking for :

1. You write JavaScript as if it were your first language. Deep familiarity with the runtime, async patterns, performance optimisation, and the browser platform (Canvas, Web APIs, media handling).
2. Experience building complex, stateful UIs, ideally something closer to a tool than a typical web app.
3. Solid Python skills for backend services, scripting, and working with ML/AI pipelines.

Nice to have:

1. You wanna start a startup of your own in the near future.
2. Past Experience with video processing (FFmpeg, WebCodecs, or similar).
3. Experience at an early-stage startup or as a founding engineer.

Compensation:

CTC: 20-40 LPA + Meaningful Equity (No bar for right candidates)
