Some context on the role:

This is not a developer role buried inside a 50-person engineering team. Youll be one of our first 3 engineering hires & work closely with us (founders) in shaping the product. This is a full-stack product engineering role. Youll touch everything that gets the product in customers hands.

We enjoy working with people who have a chip on their shoulder - people who treat work as identity and expression & have a strong bias for action. If you plan on starting your own company in the next few years, think of this as your rehearsal. Youll build a product, ship it to real customers, watch them break it, fix it, then make it 10x better

What Were Building

• We are building Cursor for digital marketing teams (think teams running ads on Meta, Google, etc.).
• We launched our first feature 4 months ago
• Already used by a few big advertisers in India & US.
• Collectively, our users spend $10M+ per month on ads.
• 3 of the top 20 apps on Indias Play Store use us.

About the Founding Team

Both of us have spent a decade each in AI & Marketing. Meher, who leads engineering, spent 10 years building AI products @ DigitalOcean, InMobi and Observe.ai. Ankit, who leads business & product, spent nearly a decade in growth teams @ unicorns like CRED, PocketFM & LeapFinance.

What Youll Do

• Own end-to-end product features: backend logic, APIs, and front-end experiences.
• Design and build robust integrations with Meta, Google, and other ad platforms.
• Work closely with founders to translate customer pain points into technical solutions.
• Write code that balances speed and reliability ship fast without breaking trust.
• Help evolve our system architecture to support scale (multi-tenant SaaS, growing workloads).

What Were Looking For

Someone who can go deep on integrations, debug distributed systems, and build reliable async workflows. You should be comfortable working independently and making technical decisions.

Hard Requirements

• 2+ years ofProduction experience in Python development, Flask (or Django)
• Comfort with MongoDB and Redis
• Built or maintained queue-based systems (RQ, Celery, SQS, or similar)
• Experience integrating third-party APIs (REST, webhooks, OAuth flows)
• AWS experience (S3, EC2/ECS, ECR)
• Strong understanding of async patterns and distributed systems
• Experience with LLM API integration (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.)

Nice to have

• Experience building multi-step workflows or orchestration systems
• Familiarity with tool/function calling patterns in LLMs
• React/Next.js knowledge
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks
