Founding AI Engineer

Location: Bengaluru 5 days work from office.

Client is into building a self-serve platform for fast LLM fine-tuning, training, and deployment on proprietary data. Their goal is to enable teams to launch custom, production-ready language models in days by automating the full model development workflow from data curation to training to deployment and monitoring.

We are forming a small founding engineering team to design and build the core systems that will power this platform. This is a hands-on role with significant technical ownership and influence over long-term architecture.

1. Design and build ML infrastructure for training, fine-tuning, evaluating, and serving large language models
2. Develop automated pipelines for data ingestion, versioning, training orchestration, and deployment
3. Make foundational architectural decisions with long-term impact
4. Work closely with customers to solve real production problems
5. Contribute to product direction and system design, not just implementation

1. Experience with ML systems, MLOps, backend infrastructure, or distributed systems
2. Have deployed ML models or data systems into production environments
3. Comfortable working in ambiguous, early-stage environments
4. Strong engineering fundamentals and product intuition
5. Interested in ownership and long-term impact, not just execution
