Altern8 Superfoods is a Mumbai-based, health-focused food brand working on product innovation and customised food solutions for corporate and B2B clients. We operate at the intersection of food science, product development, and business , creating thoughtful food products and gifting solutions for Corporate companies.

Were looking for a Food Technologist who wants to go beyond the lab and work on New Product Development (NPD) along with Business Development support .

This is a techno-commercial role ideal for someone curious about how food products are conceptualised, customised, and taken to market.

This is not a QA-only or lab-only role

This is not a hardcore sales role

New Product Development (NPD)

• Supporting development of new food products and hamper concepts
• Ingredient selection, formulation inputs, shelf-life and packaging considerations
• Coordinating with manufacturers, vendors, and internal teams
• Supporting product documentation and customisation requests

Business Development (B2B)

• Supporting interactions with corporate clients and brands
• Explaining product concepts, ingredients, and quality standards
• Assisting in proposals, sampling discussions, and client coordination
• Joining client meetings with the founder/sales lead when required

• Degree in Food Technology / Food Science / Nutrition / Dairy Technology
• 14 years experience in the food industry (R&D, NPD, QA, manufacturing, etc.)
• Interested in product innovation + business exposure
• Comfortable with client-facing discussions
• Curious, organised, and commercially aware

• End-to-end exposure to food product development in a real business setting
• Understanding of how products move from concept to commercialisation
• Experience in B2B food solutions & corporate requirements
• Opportunity to grow into NPD, Product, or Techno-Commercial roles
