We are redefining how pets are cared forso they live longer, and families never have to wonder if they did enough.

This is not a lab-only role .

You will own the product end-to-end from formulation refinement to manufacturing SOPs to quality systems and work closely with the founder and the factory team.

If youve ever wanted to build a product from zero and see it scale nationally , this is that role.

1. Product & Formulation

• Refine and validate existing formulations (wet food / retort)
• Ensure nutritional adequacy, palatability, and stability
• Work with functional & Ayurvedic ingredients (compatibility with retort)
• Optimize for batch-to-batch consistency

2. Manufacturing & SOPs

• Translate formulations into scalable manufacturing processes
• Define cooking, filling, and retort SOPs
• Work closely with factories/manufacturers
• Manage yield, moisture, texture, and taste consistency

3. Quality & Trust Systems

• Set incoming RM specifications and COA standards
• Design batch documentation & traceability
• Lead shelf-life testing (accelerated + real-time)
• Own complaint analysis and corrective action frameworks

4. Regulatory & Future Readiness

• Ensure AAFCO & FSSAI pet food compliance
• Support claim defensibility (what we can/cannot say)
• Build a foundation for vet-channel and export readiness

Must-haves

• 312 years experience in Food Technology / Food Science / Nutrition
• Hands-on experience with wet food / retort / shelf-stable / pet-care products
• Experience working with manufacturing plants
• Strong understanding of quality systems & SOPs
• Builder mindset comfortable with ambiguity and ownership

Good to have

• Pet food or animal nutrition experience
• Experience with functional ingredients / supplements
• Exposure to Ayurvedic or botanical ingredients
• Startup or mid-scale company background (not only MNCs)
