CREWS - GWS - F&B City/Regional Lead
The position will oversee all aspects of food and beverage planning service and management within Cognizant facilities within assigned region /cluster. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality food services that enhance employee satisfaction and align with the company standards and policies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in food and beverage management a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of food and beverage services across assigned facilities ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
Manage relationships with food and beverage vendors ensuring quality cost-effectiveness and timely delivery of services.
High level of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
Ensure the kitchen back-of-house areas and dishwashing stations comply with local health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular safety audits ensuring that all staff adhere to safety protocols including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Develop and implement diverse and nutritious menu options that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of employees including special dietary requirements.
Ensure all food and beverage services meet the highest standards of quality hygiene and safety through regular audits and inspections.
Prepare and manage budgets monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality.
Lead train and develop the food and beverage team to deliver exceptional service fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Coordinate food and beverage services for corporate events meetings and special occasions ensuring seamless execution and high employee satisfaction.
Implement sustainable practices in food and beverage operations to support the companys environmental goals such as reducing food waste and sourcing locally.
Collect and analyze employee feedback to continuously improve food and beverage services addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards.
Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations in food and beverage services incorporating new ideas to enhance the employee dining experience.
Oversee inventory management processes ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste through efficient ordering and storage practices.
Collaborate with the wellness team to integrate health and wellness programs into food and beverage offerings promoting a healthy workplace culture.
Develop and implement contingency plans for food and beverage operations in case of emergencies or disruptions ensuring continuity of services.
Prepare regular reports on food and beverage operations including financial performance employee satisfaction and compliance metrics for senior management review.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Expertise in managing food and beverage operations including procurement inventory management and quality control.
Proficiency in budgeting cost control and financial reporting.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on employee satisfaction.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards.
Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in food and beverage management.
Certifications Required
Relevant certifications in food safety and hygiene (e.g. HACCP ServSafe).
