Key Requirements

Experience

• 58 years of overall mobile application development experience
• 35+ years of handson Flutter development, specifically with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)

Technical Skills (Mandatory)

• Strong handson experience with BLE and GATT:
• Services, characteristics, descriptors
• Notifications and indications
• Solid knowledge of Dart & Flutter fundamentals:
• Widgets, layouts, async/await, streams, isolates
• State management experience:
• Bloc (Mandatory)
• Provider / Riverpod
• Experience with Flutter BLE libraries:
• flutter_blue_plus
• reactive_ble
• flutter_reactive_ble
• Custom platform channels (Android/iOS)
• Experience with:
• OTA firmware updates
• Data framing and binary payload handling
• Strong understanding of:
• BLE permissions
• Background modes
• Battery optimization
• Android & iOS platform constraints
• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON serialization
• Local data storage using Hive / SQLite
• Authentication experience (Mandatory):
• Okta / AWS Cognito / Firebase Authentication
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines:
• Jenkins, Codemagic, GitLab
• Knowledge of App Store & Play Store release processes
• Experience with Clean Architecture:
• MVVM / MVC

Tools & Technologies

• VS Code, Android Studio, Xcode
• Flutter DevTools
• BLE debugging tools:
• nRF Connect, LightBlue (or similar)
• Jira, Git, and code review tools

Good to Have

• Experience with BLE chipsets / stacks:
• Nordic (nRF), TI, ESP32, STM32, Silicon Labs
• Knowledge of:
• Encrypted GATT communication
• Custom pairing/bonding flows
• Endtoend (E2E) data security
• Prior experience in IoT applications or realtime dashboards
