Flow Software Engineer 3-5 years for Pune Location

Bachelors degree in Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation or equivalent

Preferred qualification:

Exposure to Configuration tools and diagnostic utilities of Flow Computers Emerson S600/ Omni 3000/6000, ABB Flow X or Similar.

Knowledge of process automation, industrial protocols.

Experience in handling Project activities, FAT/SAT and site commissioning activities

Strong understanding of hydrocarbon measurement principlesoil & gas.

Practical knowledge of:

AGA standards: AGA-3 (orifice), AGA-7 (turbine), AGA-8/AGA-8 GERG (compressibility), AGA-11 (ultrasonic)

API MPMS (esp. Chapter 11 volume correction), ASTM D1250 (TP-25)

ISO 5167 (differential pressure flow)

Experience with volume correction factors (CTL, CPL, CTPL), supercompressibility, density/GRS/API gravity handling.

Proficiency with Modbus (TCP/RTU), basic OPC, and device integration (GC, transmitters, flowmeters).

Ability to read P&IDs, System Architecture, datasheets, wiring diagrams; comfortable with loop checks and field validation.

Strong documentation skills (FDS, FAT/SAT protocols, test records).

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Clear written and verbal communication, stakeholder alignment.

Ownership mindsetable to work independently in the field and coordinate with EPCs, integrators, and end users.

Willingness to travel to site for FAT/SAT/commissioning.
