Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Flight Control Engineer with a strong background in eVTOL aircraft, flight control systems, and industry-standard tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating flight control laws and systems to ensure safe and efficient operation of advanced aerial platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement flight control laws for eVTOL aircraft and other advanced aerial systems.
• Develop and validate control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink and other simulation tools.
• Perform system modeling, dynamic analysis, and performance evaluations for flight control systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, and software verification.
• Ensure compliance with industry-wide certification standards (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A).
• Conduct failure mode analysis, robustness testing, and safety assessments for flight control systems.
• Support flight testing activities, including data analysis and tuning of control laws.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering, Control Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in flight control systems design and development.
• Hands-on experience with eVTOL platforms and advanced aerial vehicle architectures.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, control system design, and simulation environments.
• Familiarity with industry certification standards such as DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A, and safety-critical software development practices.
• Strong understanding of aerodynamics, flight dynamics, and control theory.
• Experience with HIL testing, real-time simulation, and embedded control systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with model-based design and auto-code generation tools.
• Knowledge of sensor fusion, navigation algorithms, and actuator control.
• Exposure to regulatory compliance for eVTOL and UAV systems.

Certifications (Preferred):

• DO-178C / DO-254 compliance experience.
• ARP4754A system development process familiarity.
