Fixed Income Desk - Team member - West

1. Trade Execution and Market Interaction
1. Execute fixed income trades efficiently across a range of instruments, including government bonds, corporate bonds, money market instruments, and derivatives.
2. Monitor live market activity, identify trading opportunities, and negotiate with brokers for best execution.
3. Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines during trade execution.
4. Maintain and strengthen relationships with market intermediaries and counterparties.
2. Should be well versed with making bond cash flows for g-sec, sdl, plain vanilla and/or structured bonds.
3. Market Research and Analysis

1. Stay updated on macroeconomic trends, interest rate movements, and fixed income market developments.
2. Provide insights and recommendations on yield curves, credit spreads, and market liquidity.

4. Ensuring inputting of trades in the system within prescribed timelines while coordinating with stakeholders.
5. Provide Bond valuations before trading of bonds
6. Necessary approvals (for buy / sell down) to be taken from authorized person for facilitating smooth trades.

Skills/Expertise required

• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of fixed income markets, instruments, and macroeconomic factors.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with brokers, internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient at MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point)
• Prior experience in fixed income – corporate bond market space, is preferred.
• Team Player: Collaborative approach to working with the fund management team and other departments.

Education qualification

• A degree in Financial markets/ commerce with min 60% marks
• Certifications in financial markets (e.g., CFA, FRM, or NISM certifications) are preferred.

Experience

• Experience of 2-4 years in fixed income dealing
• Proven track record in executing fixed income bond trades.

Age criteria

• Between 21 – 30 yrs
