Job Summary

Shara Circuits Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled Firmware Engineer with hands-on experience in developing and debugging firmware for custom PCB designs. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working closely with hardware teams and delivering stable, production-ready firmware for embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and debug firmware for custom PCB designs
• Work on microcontroller-based systems (bare-metal and RTOS-based)
• Interface and integrate peripherals such as:
• GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, PWM, Timers
• Support board bring-up, hardware validation, and debugging
• Collaborate with PCB design and hardware engineers
• Optimize firmware for performance, memory, and power consumption
• Prepare firmware documentation and test procedures
• Support production, field issues, and firmware updates
• Assist in component selection from firmware compatibility perspective

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 34 years of firmware / embedded development experience (mandatory)
• Strong programming skills in C / Embedded C
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M / AVR / PIC / ESP / STM32 (any relevant MCU)
• Hands-on experience with debugging tools (JTAG, SWD, logic analyzer)
• Understanding of schematics and PCB layouts
• Experience in board bring-up and hardwaresoftware integration
• Knowledge of RTOS concepts (FreeRTOS or similar) preferred
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with communication protocols (CAN, USB, Ethernet)
• Basic understanding of bootloaders and firmware update mechanisms
• Exposure to IoT, wireless modules (Wi-Fi, BLE, LoRa)
