Role: Azure FinOps Lead Key Responsibilities

Define and implement Azure FinOps strategy aligned with business and financial goals
Monitor, analyze, and optimize Azure cloud spend
Build and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost models
Implement cost governance policies, tagging standards, and chargeback/show back models
Track cost anomalies, variances, and savings opportunities
Drive cost optimization initiatives (RI, Savings Plans, right-sizing, auto-scaling, storage optimization)
Create and maintain cost dashboards and executive reports
Partner with engineering, finance, procurement, and leadership teams
Ensure financial accountability and transparency across business units
Manage vendor licensing, EA/CSP billing, and contracts optimization
Establish FinOps best practices, frameworks, and operating models
Lead automation for cost controls and reporting
Support cloud cost audits and compliance requirements
Mentor and guide FinOps analysts and cloud cost teams
