Financial Reporting Manager

• Purpose of the role

To support in developing and managing all financial reporting and reconciliation disciplines for Airtel Business and ensure fiscal control on all the processes like revenue, cost and asset.

• Job Description

Financial reporting:

1. Review of trial balance and GL scrutiny to ensure all the variance reasons are available. To ensure accounting is as per laid down accounting policies and guidelines.
2. To review all the DTRs which are prepared by ACE team. Highlight the issues in DTRs and follow up for closure.
3. Prepare monthly review deck on Telesonic business for a review with business.
4. Account Receivable- Monitoring of revenue booking process & reconciliation with single view system and to ensure alignment with circulated accounting guidelines incl IUT recons.
5. Preparation of financial statements (on a yearly basis though) and also to ensure closure of statutory audits (this is on aquarterly basis) without any issue.
6. Monthly review of debtors aging and follow up with teams and highlight the bad debt exposure in advance.

Policies and procedures

1. Update existing policies and procedures to continually enhance control environment.
2. To support in highlighting any new accounting guidelines for a new product / business etc to the SME team for framing the guideline.
3. Periodic review of all accounting guidelines issued vis a vis the accounting happening. Whether the accounting is in line with the guideline or not?

Internal Controls over Financial Reporting

1. Auditing/ Testing of ICOFR controls in the Tool, testing with artefacts as independent reviewer.

2. Update existing ICOFR controls to continually enhance control environment.
