Can you close the books and build a Power BI dashboard? Can you talk to a US CFO in the morning and clean up a Power Query model in the afternoon?

ValDatum Technologies Private Limited is an India-based FinOps consultancy delivering high-impact offshore accounting and analytics services to US mid-market clients. We currently serve clients in behavioral healthcare, restaurant groups, and hospitality and we are growing fast.

We have 2 immediate opening for an Accountant who is equally comfortable with debits and data.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

Full-cycle US GAAP accounting GL management, bank reconciliations, intercompany, and month-end close

Prepare client-ready reports in Excel with advanced formulas and Power Query

Work inside QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, and Restaurant365

Process payroll data via Paylocity and POS reconciliations via Toast

Support Power BI reporting with DAX measures and data model inputs

Use AI tools to automate repetitive tasks and increase throughput

Join client calls with US-based finance leadership strong English is required

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

34 years of US accounting experience (client-facing preferred)

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and/or Sage Intacct (mandatory)

Advanced Excel: XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Power Query, M Code, DAX basics

Strong written and verbal English communication non-negotiable

Comfort with cloud-based, multi-entity accounting environments

Working knowledge of AI tools (even basic prompt usage counts)

WHAT SETS YOU APART

Experience with Restaurant365 or Toast POS

Exposure to Power BI or Microsoft Fabric

Prior experience in a US CPA firm or offshore finance team

Location: Bengaluru | Work from Office | No Remote

Compensation: Competitive discussed on call based on experience

US time zone overlap hours required
