Financial Reporting & Compliance

Role Overview

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with 23 years of experience in closing books of accounts and preparing financial statements in compliance with IND AS. The role involves financial reporting, GL scrutiny, variance analysis, MIS preparation, audit coordination, and supporting board presentations. Proficiency in SAP and MS Office is essential, along with strong analytical and communication skills. Experience in the retail sector is a plus. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

1. Monthly, quarterly and annual preparation of financials statements (including consolidated financials)
2. GL Scrutiny and preparation of monthly variance analysis (budget vs actuals) for the management.
3. Preparation of various monthly MIS for the management/ stakeholders
4. Liasioning with internal and statutory auditors for timely closure of audit.
5. Assisting in Board presentations.

Requirements

1. 2-4 years experience in closing of books of accounts and preparation of financial statements.
2. Knowledge of IND AS is must.
3. Proficient in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power point) and SAP.
4. An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
5. Excellent communication and people skills
6. Retail experience will be given preference.

Qualifications :

• Qualified CA with good Articleship exposure
