Minimum 8+yrs of exp in Financial Planning & Analysis, #forecasting ,#budgeting , #compliance & exp in #ERPsystems
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Associate to oversee financial operations across our India and US entities. This role will be responsible for managing FP&A activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in cross-border finance management, compliance, and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts for both US and India operations
Monitor financial performance against targets and provide variance analysis
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for leadership
Accounting & Compliance:
Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes
Ensure compliance with US GAAP and Indian accounting standards
Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits
Transfer pricing workings and compliance
US tax codes, labor-related taxes, and other compliance
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Support AP and AR teams in invoice verification, vendor payouts, and collections
Implement approval workflows for vendor invoices and expense reports
Maintain accurate aging reports and resolve discrepancies promptly
Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
Monitor cash flow and ensure timely fund transfers between entities
Optimize working capital and manage currency exchange considerations
Process Improvement & Automation:
Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes and implement automation tools
Ensure robust internal controls and risk management practices
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with operations, procurement, and leadership teams to align financial goals
Serve as the primary liaison between US and India finance teams
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
8+ years of experience in finance operations, with exposure to international accounting
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Indian accounting standards
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities
