What Do We Expect From You

Financial Project controller controls and ensure Business unit (BU) wise P&L while accurately predicting future and control actuals with budget. Provides financial insight to BU Leader and Top Management. Improve accuracy of forecast and budgeting and initiate controlling process to maintain targets. Team player and participation in reporting and analytics tool implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Active member of the finance team, reporting to and supporting Director, FP&A.
• Responsible to set up and maintain monthly forecasting and assist in consolidation of month end accounts.
• Supports BU organization to understand the accounting impacts in the actuals and forecast.
• Forecast the revenues and the P&L projections every quarter for remaining year.
• Coordinating with BU leaders for monthly results and its analysis.
• Managing Headcount details accurately and corroborating it with actuals.
• Coordination with accounting team for understanding actual costs.
• Corroborating with sales for accurate Revenue forecast and Pipeline projects
• Responsible to monitor and control BU P&L and help establishing approval process for procurement based on Forecast & Budget
• Profitability improvement Help finding team areas of cost saving and help them implementing the same.
• Supports organization on Performance review trough insights on actual figures and accounting topics and answering all questions
• Preparation and finalisation of the Business Plan including capital budgeting after incorporating all the inputs from all relevant constituents.
• Taking Lead in various Tool implementation initiatives to operationalize weekly forecasting , Reporting and Analytics.
• Product costing including new products / projects in R&D
• Support the Operation heads at various locations and across verticals from planning and reporting perspective to ensure smooth operations

Required Skills & Expertise:

• Strong conceptual knowledge of financial planning and analysis and business decision support process.
• Strong Verbal and written/presentation communication skills
• High adaptability and ability to work across functions with Senior leaders in the organization
• Ability to understand the business model and drivers of top-line and bottom-line.
• Good skills to work with various teams across RS entities.
• Qualified Accountant / Post Graduate with 4-8 years of experience in commercial functions.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies

• Problem Solving, Collaboration Skills, Master in Excel, Automation Skills, Basic knowledge of ERP (preferable), Fluent English. Previous Anaplan tool experience is an added advantage.
