Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist

What you’ll do at Ather

• Build and maintain financial models to synthesize financial forecasts and analyses for strategic initiatives, including new business lines / markets / products analysis, strategic decision-making in day-to-day operations, and other growth initiatives

• Anchor data management - Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data used in analysis and reporting.

• Support financial reporting processes - involving closure of MIS reporting, robust understanding of plan vs actual, risk and opportunity call outs together with forward looking outlook forecast. 

• Work closely on the annual and quarterly forecasting process, cash flow analysis, monthly cash planning, assist in long range planning - including maintaining complex financial forecasts for the organization and its multiple SBUs..

• Liaison closely with key internal stakeholders in various departments to systematically monitor performance, identify key trends and produce analytical and in-depth assessment reports to help management understand operational/ financial trends better

• Provide support on ad hoc analytical projects and requests as needed.

• Expected to be highly skilled and proficient in Excel, google spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.

• Must be able to synthesize copious amounts of raw data

• Strong communicator with ability to present concepts, recommendations and analyses to management in a clear, concise and actionable manner.

• Demonstrated success in team collaboration; ability to work well cross-functionally

What you bring to Ather

• Chartered Accountant (CA) - preferable; Master's in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, and/or Economics preferred - 4-6 years of experience
