About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Controller (Senior Manager) to oversee our
company's financial operations, ensure compliance, and provide insights to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a track record of delivering accurate and timely financial results.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards - IndAS.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure timely closure of books of accounts.
Lead the budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with various departments.
Monitor budget vs. actual performance and highlight variances with actionable insights.
Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, etc.).
Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors and ensure the timely completion of audits.
Manage daily cash flow and working capital requirements.
Optimize fund utilization and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
Strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
Prior work, e.g., with Big4 preferred.
Prior working experience with Ind AS financial and audit closing with Big 4 auditors.
Up to 7 years of post-qualification experience in finance and accounting.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience:
Prior work, e.g., with Big 4.
Working exposure with Ind AS accounting and reporting
