Role: Finance Controller (CA/MBA Finance)

Experience: 15years

Location: Chennai, India

Role Overview:

As a Finance Controller, you will be responsible for financial reporting, statutory compliance, internal controls, audits, budgeting, and regulatory matters , while also supporting leadership in strategic financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting
• Establish and monitor internal controls and financial governance

Oversee core accounting functions like:

• General Ledger
• Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Fixed Assets
• Payroll & Reconciliations

Ensure full compliance with

• Income Tax, GST
• PF, ESI, Gratuity
• Companies Act & statutory filings
• Manage internal and external aud its and close audit observations
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and re-forecasting
• Handle compliance related to FDI, FEMA, and RBI regulations
• Coordinate with consultants, auditors, bankers, and legal advisors
• Support foreign investment structuring, capital infusions, and documentat< /li>ion

Experience & Skills Required

• 15+ y ears of experience in finance, accounting, or controllership r
• Strong exposure to statutory compliance and Indian accounting standards
• Experience with SEZ compli ance is highly preferred
• Good understanding of taxation and regulatory framework
• Exposure to FDI, FEMA, and RBI compli ance is a strong advantage
• Ability to work closely with senior leadership and manage stakeholders

Qualifications:

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance)
