About the Role

We are seeking a commercially driven Finance Controller to lead financial governance, reporting, and strategic finance in a fast-paced FMCG/D2C environment.

This role offers a unique opportunity to partner directly with the founders, influencing key business decisions, growth strategy, and financial discipline as the organization scales.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Controllership

• Lead month-end & year-end closures
• Ensure accuracy of P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow
• Drive leadership MIS & performance dashboards

FP&A & Commercial Finance

• Budgeting, forecasting & variance analysis
• SKU/category-level margin tracking
• Support pricing, cost optimization & profitability initiatives

Working Capital & Treasury

• Manage receivables, payables & inventory cycles
• Drive cash flow forecasting & liquidity planning
• Coordinate with banks & manage working capital facilities

Compliance & Governance

• Oversee statutory audits, internal audits & tax compliance (GST, Income Tax)
• Strengthen internal controls & risk frameworks
• Ensure regulatory and accounting standard adherence

Process & Systems

• Lead ERP improvements & finance automation
• Build scalable financial processes aligned to growth

Preferred Industry Background

• FMCG
• D2C Consumer Brands
• FMCD
• Manufacturing
• Pharma
• Q-Commerce exposure will be an added advantage

Experience in distribution-led or inventory-heavy business models is strongly preferred.
