About the Role

This is a hands-on controllership role with exposure across financial reporting, compliance, MIS, consolidation, and audits . You will work closely with leadership to ensure financial discipline, transparency, and decision-ready reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Get first-hand experience in implementation and ongoing compliance with IND AS
• Prepare and consolidate financial statements for group entities
• Ensure accuracy and reconciliation of inter-company transactions
• Support statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance requirements

Budgeting, Forecasting & MIS

• Develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts aligned with business objectives
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS
• Track budget vs actuals, analyse variances, and provide actionable insights to management

Reporting, Analysis & Decision Support

• Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis and high-quality reports for business decision-making
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through structured analysis and financial modelling
• Support leadership with data-driven insights in a fast-evolving business environment

Audit & Internal Controls

• Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits
• Strengthen and implement robust internal control frameworks
• Drive process improvements to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance

Qualifications & Skills

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification
• 23 years of post-qualification experience , preferably in e-commerce, consumer internet, or startup environments
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Strong working knowledge of IND AS, MIS reporting, and financial consolidation
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
• Strong analytical mindset with clear communication and stakeholder management skills
