Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end financial accounting and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual books.

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including direct and indirect taxation. Lead statutory, internal, and investor audits, ensuring zero or minimal audit observations.

Design and implement robust internal financial controls and governance frameworks.

Prepare and present monthly MIS, cash flow statements, and management dashboards.

Coordinate with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax advisors, and consultants.

Drive ERP utilization and finance process automation to improve efficiency and scalability.

Manage and mentor a lean finance team, working cross-functionally with business teams.

Provide financial insights to leadership to support informed decision-making and business growth.

Must-Have Qualifications & Experience

Chartered Accountant (CA) First Attempt preferred.

710 years of post-qualification experience.

Experience working in high-growth startups (EdTech / SaaS / Consumer Tech preferred).

Strong working knowledge of:

o Financial accounting & reporting o Direct and indirect taxation

o Statutory, internal & investor audits o Indian GAAP & IND AS

o Multi-entity structures and consolidation
