Job Description
Financial Controller: -
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: The Financial Controller is responsible for the coordination of data collection and preparation of the EBITDA outlook (Flash, Forecast and Budget). The Financial controller supports in the preparation of various management reporting. The financial controller is also responsible for the preparation of supporting documentation for internal/external audits, including the preparation of Sox controls in his/her domain. The financial controllers make financial analysis of suppliers at the request of Procurement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordination of data collection and preparation of EBITDA outlook (monthly Flash, quarterly Forecast and yearly Budget)
Collect inputs on sales, raw material, purchases, CO2 emissions and allocations, external slab purchases, etc
Preparation of the result Flash/Forecast/Budget file --> Analytical breakdown to come to managerial EBITDA
Data collection and preparation of EBITDA bridges
Reconciliation between local and central managerial figures Preparation of various management reporting
Preparation of various management reporting (E.g. Management committee reporting with Key figures, EBITDA bridges, managerial free cash flow, etc)
Reporting towards Segment / Group Preparation of supporting documentation for internal/external audits
Preparation of monthly Sox control: Review of Profit & Loss accounts + MRF.
Preparation of quarterly Sox control: Review cash flow statement.
Preparation of quarterly Sox control: NRV (measurement of inventories at the lower of cost and net realisable value) & Provision for slow moving inventories
Preparation of quarterly Sox control: Calculation of CO2 emission rights provisions
Prepare supporting documentation for audits and regulatory reporting needs (Raw material purchases, stocks, etc) Supplier financial analysis
Perform financial analysis (ratio analysis and Balance sheet / P&L review) for specific suppliers at the request of Procurement.
