Financial Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for a Finance Analyst to support business decision-making through financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking. The role will work closely with leadership, operations, and business teams to ensure strong financial control and data-driven growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (P&L, cash flow, variance analysis)
• Analyze revenue, costs, margins, and profitability across business lines
• Track KPIs and business performance metrics

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in annual budgeting and rolling forecasts
• Monitor budget vs actuals and highlight risks/opportunities
• Support scenario planning and financial modeling

Business & Strategic Support

• Provide insights for pricing, client profitability, and cost optimization
• Support leadership with ad-hoc financial analysis and dashboards
• Work with business teams to evaluate new initiatives and investments

Controls & Compliance

• Ensure financial processes follow internal controls and policies
• Support audits and compliance requirements
• Coordinate with accounting and external consultants if required

Data & Systems

• Maintain financial models and MIS reports
• Work with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, ERP, BI dashboards
• Improve automation and reporting efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

• CA (Inter / Final), MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification

Experience

• 25 years in finance analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance
• Experience in media, digital marketing, SaaS, or service-based companies preferred

Technical Skills

• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, models)
• Financial modeling and forecasting
• Knowledge of accounting principles
• Exposure to Power BI / Tableau is a plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear communication with non-finance stakeholders
• High attention to detail and ownership mindset
