We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically strong Accounts Manager with 46 years of experience and solid exposure to investment accounting, capital markets, mutual funds, and equity shares. The role involves managing corporate investments, treasury support, compliance, and financial reporting within a listed / growth-oriented corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Manage day-to-day Investment accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance and applicable accounting standards.
• Prepare MIS reports and financial analytics for management review.

2. Investment & Capital Market Accounting

• Handle accounting and reconciliation of:
• Mutual fund investments (equity/debt schemes)
• Equity shares and securities
• Bonds and other financial instruments
• Track investment transactions: purchase, sale, redemption, dividends, and bonus issues.
• Compute short-term and long-term capital gains.
• Perform portfolio valuation and mark-to-market adjustments.
• Maintain investment registers and documentation.

3. Treasury & Fund Management

• Monitor cash flow and liquidity requirements.
• Support fund deployment strategies and banking transactions.
• Coordinate with banks, brokers, and financial institutions.

4. Compliance & Taxation

• Ensure compliance with:
• Income Tax provisions (including capital gains taxation)
• TDS & GST regulations
• ROC filings and statutory requirements
• Assist in internal, statutory, and tax audits.
• Maintain accurate records for regulatory review.

5. Financial Analysis & Strategic Support

• Conduct financial analysis of investments and returns.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises.
• Support management in evaluating funding options and investment decisions.

Required Qualifications

• B. Com / M. Com / MBA (Finance)
• CA (Inter) preferred
• 46 years of experience in Investment Banking Exposure within a corporate setup
• Exposure to mutual fund and share accounting is mandatory

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of capital markets, Share Trading, Mutual Funds and investment instruments
• Proficiency in Tally / SAP / ERP systems
• Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial analysis)
• Understanding of IND-AS and corporate compliance requirements
