Job Description
About the role : The suitable candidate will look after all type of insurance requirement & day-to-day insurance activities for the organization and maintain database of valuable information.
Support and supervises banking and accounts payable function for the organization.
The Objectives of this role include Manages and supervises the insurance, banking operation & accounts payable support requirement for the organization.
Responsibility :
Insurance
- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day activities of insurance.
- Ensure that the required compliances are prepared & submitted on a timely basis.
- Respond to queries, by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicate and follow up with Insurance broker to finalize the insurance quote/ negotiation and other issues etc.
- Ensure proper insurance coverages & negotiation for the organization
- Ensure that closure of the business insurance requirement
- Periodically review of running insurance policy and taking immediate action as and when required.
- Signoff the insurance clauses in the agreement
- Ensure to file insurance claim timely basis and coordination with claim manager/ underwriter/ and surveyor for claim settlement, documentation and other compliance
- Prepare reports, compliance and analysis that may be required by the Head of function.
- Support to finance team on their daily activities & work closely with them.
- Drafting of SOP & circulation within the team. Interact with operation related to insurance requirements and claim etc.
Banking & Accounts Payable
- Manage the Cash and Banking operations of the company. Interact with Banks to resolve issues relating to Fund and Non Fund based activities (eg BGs, LCs and any such transaction)
- Accounting associated with Cash and Bank operations.
- Ensure that transactions for the day are posted and reconciled with the general ledger on a daily basis.
- Ensure that the required journal entries are prepared on a timely basis.
- Ensure that month-end closing entries are done as per standard procedure.
- Respond to queries, by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day activities of Accounts Payable and banking operation.
- Communicate and follow up with functions to resolve issues and expedite problem payments.
- Reconcile creditors statements of accounts against the records
What Are We Looking For?
- Min bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
- Minium 2 years insurance profile experience is mandatory.
- Proficient in MS Office Excel, word
- Interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees, superiors, and customers.
- Well planned, organized with keen attention to detail.
- High levels of Integrity and Compliance in personal and professional conduct
Position Academic Qualification
- M.Com / ICWA / CA (inter), MBA (Finance)
