Role Overview:
The Finance Shared Services Transition Manager is responsible for managing the transition of specific finance processes or functions into a shared services model. This role focuses on planning, execution, and stabilization of assigned transitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Transition Planning:
- Develop detailed transition plans for assigned processes.
- Conduct due diligence, process mapping, and gap analysis.
- Execution:
- Coordinate knowledge transfer, training, and documentation.
- Ensure smooth migration of activities with minimal disruption.
- Track progress against milestones and report status.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with process owners, shared services teams, and support functions.
- Address concerns and manage expectations.
- Risk & Issue Management:
- Identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Resolve operational issues during transition.
- Post-Transition Support:
- Support stabilization and handover to operations.
- Document lessons learned and improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Total 8+ years experience in finance operations or shared services.
- 5+ years pf Experience in managing transitions or migrations
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of finance processes and controls.
