Finance Rptg Analyst I - C09

This is a role of an Analysts in Financial Close and Execution team.  The team is part of financial Close function supporting Europe Entities and is responsible for performing daily close, pre-month end activities, month end adjustments, ensuring data integrity, preparing & posting of adjustments in ledgers and submission of financials as per US GAAP reporting.

The Candidate would be primarily responsible for:

• Closing the books and sub-ledgers, including passing appropriate required adjustment entries and submission of financials at the end of each accounting period
• Ensure all adjustments are reviewed as per adjustment directive
• Escalate issues related to transactions, processes, reports, or procedures as well as monitor progress/changes and keep senior leadership informed of unusual financial details
• Daily and Month end reporting and analysis
• Ensuring that the integrity of the operating environment meets audit and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Establish very good understanding and conceptual knowledge of G/L functionality and dataflow for the G/L process within team.
• Closing the books and sub-ledgers, including passing appropriate required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each accounting period
• Ensure Data integrity - Accounting Adjustments, Financial Checks and reviews, Analysis and Business support.
• Performing MoM, QoQ, YoY variance Analysis
• Monthly / Quarterly/Annual reporting as per US GAAP
• Provide support / ownership / oversight on Key Projects and Initiatives at Global level as well as Integrated close level
• Ensure Strong Control environment at all times
• Continuous process improvements to make process efficient.
• Multiple stakeholder management. Strategic Process Improvements/ Efficiencies.

Qualification and Education:

• Finance Graduate - Inter CA / CA / CPA / CFA /MBA is desirable
