Job Description
Role Summary
We are looking for a dynamic Finance professional to lead core finance operations, including accounting, treasury, cash-flow management, budgeting, and MIS reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical capabilities, hands-on accounting knowledge, and proficiency in financial planning tools. This role requires strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial discipline and strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Financial Operations
Oversee day-to-day accounting activities in compliance with applicable standards.
Ensure timely closing of books, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
2. Treasury & Cashflow Management
Manage daily cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization.
Monitor bank positions, coordinate with banks for treasury operations, and optimize liquidity.
Track and forecast short-term and long-term cash requirements.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting
Drive the annual budgeting process and prepare periodic forecasts.
Track budget vs. actuals, analyse deviations, and present insights to leadership.
Support business teams with financial planning and cost efficiency initiatives.
4. MIS & Management Reporting
Prepare accurate, insightful MIS reports including financial dashboards, variance analysis, and KPI tracking.
Provide timely financial insights to support decision-making.
Improve reporting frameworks and ensure consistency and accuracy.
5. Compliance & Controls
Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Support taxation, compliance documentation, and related filings.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management.
Experience in treasury, budgeting, and MIS reporting.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; working knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint).
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.
Qualification: CA or MBA (Finance)
