Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee financial planning, reporting, compliance, and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will ensure financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and support strategic decision-making through strong financial insights. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial discipline while supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS / GAAP and applicable regulatory standards.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity planning.
- Provide financial reports and performance insights to senior management.
2. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Maintain strong internal financial controls and risk management systems.
- Manage statutory filings, tax returns, and regulatory reporting.
3. Accounting Operations
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Ensure timely bank reconciliations and financial record accuracy.
- Supervise GST/VAT, corporate tax, and withholding tax filings.
- Implement and improve accounting systems and financial processes.
4. Strategic & Business Support
- Support financial analysis for new projects, investments, and business initiatives.
- Assist in fundraising, investor reporting, and financial due diligence (if applicable).
- Identify cost optimization and profitability improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with department heads for financial planning alignment.
5. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor finance and accounting staff.
- Develop SOPs and strengthen financial policies.
- Drive automation and operational efficiency within finance functions.
Required Qualifications
- 57 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance frameworks.
- Experience handling audits and regulatory reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in fintech, securities, investment banking, or financial services.
- Exposure to IPO processes or capital market transactions (preferred).
- Treasury and cash flow management expertise.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
