Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee financial planning, reporting, compliance, and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will ensure financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and support strategic decision-making through strong financial insights. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial discipline while supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Management & Reporting

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS / GAAP and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity planning.
  • Provide financial reports and performance insights to senior management.

2. Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Maintain strong internal financial controls and risk management systems.
  • Manage statutory filings, tax returns, and regulatory reporting.

3. Accounting Operations

  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Ensure timely bank reconciliations and financial record accuracy.
  • Supervise GST/VAT, corporate tax, and withholding tax filings.
  • Implement and improve accounting systems and financial processes.

4. Strategic & Business Support

  • Support financial analysis for new projects, investments, and business initiatives.
  • Assist in fundraising, investor reporting, and financial due diligence (if applicable).
  • Identify cost optimization and profitability improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with department heads for financial planning alignment.

5. Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor finance and accounting staff.
  • Develop SOPs and strengthen financial policies.
  • Drive automation and operational efficiency within finance functions.

Required Qualifications

  • 57 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience handling audits and regulatory reporting.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in fintech, securities, investment banking, or financial services.
  • Exposure to IPO processes or capital market transactions (preferred).
  • Treasury and cash flow management expertise.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
